The fact that the Freedom are gone should be attributed to WPS and not Borislow. They could have made a condition of his acquisition to keep the team in DC

But the Freedom ARE gone, he did not save them at all. The league allowed its oldest Franchise to disolve just so the league could barely hold on for one more season.

Brilliant. Unfortunately, most people will not follow your example and will continue to buy Nike gear and thus allow Nike to ignore and fleece women’s football.

I have been boycotting NIKE soccer since the beginning. I’ve never owned a US National team jersey and never will unless they switch sponsors. I never felt like NIKE had a vested interest in the sport aside from what it would do for its bottom line. Most people think I am crazy for this, but its very easy to find other, better gear. I buy a lot of PUMA now not only b/c it is more original as far as design but b/c they sponsor WPS and I want that to continue.

Paul is a very good coach. Has done well in every league, winning WPSL twice and now doing well in WPS. His teams are always difficult to play against.

I’m struck by all the national team coaches. I suppose those are the only ones FIFA sees, so obviously that’s all they know. I would like to submit for consideration Paul Riley of the Philadelphia Independence of WPS. He took a first year team to a 3rd place finish, and a WPS Championship appearance.
